This page shows the filtered daylight satellite images. Every 5-15 minutes our satellites make an image for Europe. This image is cutout and presented on this page. During daylight the visual images can be seen. We also present these images unfiltered.
During the night the clouds can be viewed thourgh our infrared cameras. The infrared satellite tries to determine temperature differences and uses that to present a cloud coverage image. The resolution of infrared cameras is lower.
